Dragon’s Den is Canada’s favourite reality show in which entrepreneurs pitch their business ideas in order to secure investment finance from a panel of venture capitalists.
Following a successful pitch to the dragons, EZclipse was able to gain the backing of dragon Manjit Minhas. This new partnership brought expertise in cost optimization, retail connections along with the $150,000 for a 20% stake in their business.
This national exposure caused EZ Clipse to grow at an immense rate. Kory Keogan, an owner of EZClipse, knew that as his company grew their ecommerce and retail channels it would be challenging to continue managing their fulfillment in house.
